Justin M. Katz was born and raised in Battle Creek, lived in Kalamazoo and graduated from Western Michigan University with his degree in Communication & Broadcasting. He now resides in the Grand Rapids area and has been DJ’ing special events since 2004 all over West Michigan. Justin has been in and out of radio since 2003, as the host of his own shows through the years, most notably the Kat-House with Justin Katz on 107.7 WRKR in Kalamazoo and 104.9 WRCC in Battle Creek. His most recent radio venture was On-Air every weekend from 10a-3p on 97.9 WGRD in Grand Rapids. Justin got his start with DJ’ing events in 2004 for a Kalamazoo company but when he moved to Grand Rapids he decided to start his own personal DJ company with J.M. Katz Entertainment, LLC. His full time work is a wealth management advisor but he will always have a place in DJ’ing with his passion for music, entertaining and providing fun & memorable events for countless clients.
